07/10/2010 - Manchester, England (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Goalkeeper Stuart Taylor has signed a two-year contract extension with Manchester City.

The 29-year-old arrived at Eastlands on a free transfer last summer to provide depth behind regular number one Shay Given.

The former Arsenal and Aston Villa keeper made just one appearance in an FA Cup fourth-round match against Scunthorpe United.

Taylor was unable to step in during the closing weeks of the campaign when Given picked up a season-ending injury as he was sidelined with his own knee problem.

However, the former England Under-21 international is back to full fitness and has been handed a new two-year contract at a club where he is expected to be third choice behind Given and England international Joe Hart next season.
